PRESS RELEASE: Already profitable and growing rapidly, the Danish proptech company will use the funding to grow its team and expand into Benelux and the DACH region.
proprty.ai, a Copenhagen-based company developing domain-specific AI for long-term maintenance and investment decisions in large building portfolios, has raised €2.8 million (DKK 21 million) in a new round led by Compounding Capital (Denmark), No Such Ventures (Netherlands), and OBOS Ventures (Norway).
The company was founded in 2023 and launched its product in spring 2024. In its first full year, proprty.ai grew annual recurring revenue from approximately €50,000 to nearly €800,000. It reached profitability at the end of 2025 and has since surpassed €1 million in ARR.
A decision foundation for portfolios of close to 40 million m²
Buildings are the world’s largest asset class and one of the least digitised. Property owners manage enormous values, yet decisions about maintenance, budgets, and sustainability are still based on fragmented data, manual processes, and short-term fixes.
“We use domain-specific AI to turn inspections, condition data, and portfolio insights into a continuously updated maintenance and investment plan. This enables our customers to move from reactive repairs to preventive maintenance, reduce costs and emissions, and protect the long-term value of their assets,” says Anders Holm Jørgensen, Founder & CEO of proprty.ai.
Today, proprty.ai is used by property organisations managing portfolios of close to 40 million square metres. Customers include Danish municipalities such as Roskilde and Copenhagen, housing organisations including KAB, and institutional owners like Thylander, PensionDanmark, and Fritz Schur. The company also serves customers in Norway, Switzerland, and Germany.
Growing the team and expanding across Europe
With the new funding, proprty.ai will significantly grow its Copenhagen-based team, with hires spanning engineering, data science, sales, and customer success. A key focus of the investment is commercial expansion into Benelux and the DACH region, with new roles dedicated to the Netherlands and Germany.
“The problem we solve is the same everywhere: property owners manage enormous values but lack the tools to make structured, long-term decisions about their buildings. That is true in Copenhagen and just as true in Amsterdam, Zurich, and Munich,” says Anders Holm Jørgensen.
Investor perspective
“Surpassing €1 million in ARR within 18 months of product launch is an incredibly strong performance for a vertical B2B software company. The strong growth driven by clear product-market fit is especially impressive in the real estate sector, which is known for being slow to adopt new technologies. Anders and the team are executing at a very high pace, and I’m confident they can take this opportunity very far,” says Kasper Grundtvig Knokgaard, owner of Compounding Capital.
