proprty.ai launches a new CO₂ module that gives property owners a clear, data-driven view of energy consumption, emissions and improvement potentials and helps them prioritize the actions that create the greatest impact.
The module has been developed in close collaboration with Copenhagen Municipality, Danish Shopping Centres and Town & Harbourwho have been key partners throughout the process. At the same time, Rudersdal Kommune already onboard as first new customer.
“For many years, CO₂ work has been characterized by reporting and spreadsheets. Now we're making it operational. With the CO₂ module, property owners can see exactly where the potential lies and act where the impact is greatest both economically and climate-wise,” says Anders Holm Jorgensen, Founder & CEO, proprty.ai.
A data-driven overview from status to action
The CO₂ module gathers key figures on condition, lifetime, energy consumption and emissions and shows how a portfolio performs today and what it takes to reach future requirements. Features include:
• EPBD benchmarks
• CRREM curves
• Dynamic energy labels based on real consumption
• Priority recommendations for which actions should come first
“The industry faces a huge task. We need to reduce both energy consumption and CO₂ emissions, and this requires a much stronger data base than in the past. Our module provides a clear picture of where you stand today, where you are going and how to get there,” says Ian Victor Magid Kjær, CTO & Co-Founder, proprty.ai.
Created in collaboration with the industry
Throughout the process, the development partners have contributed with professional sparring, practice-related needs and concrete wishes for functionality. The result is a module that supports daily decisions and makes CO₂ work a natural part of technical operations.
“The most important thing for us has been to build something that works in reality. That is why we have co-created the module together with some of Denmark's most experienced property owners. The solution is developed by the industry for the industry,” says Anders Holm Jorgensen.
Validated calculations for decisions you can trust
The module combines millions of data points from both public and proprietary sources. Calculations and methods are continuously validated to ensure quality and transparency, so that the results can be used directly in prioritization and budgeting.
“When we work with calculations at this level, it's about more than technology. It's about responsibility. Therefore, we continuously validate our methods so that the numbers can be used for real decisions in operations,” says Mikkel Jensen, Chief Data Science Officer & Co-Founder, proprty.ai.
Celebrated with champagne and more organisations on the way
The launch was marked at a lunch in Copenhagen with the development partners, where Victor Maahr from Copenhagen Municipality sabered the champagne to celebrate go live.
Interest in the module is already high, and several organizations have announced that they expect to deploy it in early 2026.
“CO₂ has become an integral part of real estate operations. Our goal is to provide the industry with a tool that makes the development concrete and action-oriented. “This is just the beginning,” he says Anders Holm Jorgensen.
About proprty.ai
