In proprty.ai, we are constantly working to improve our solutions so that our users can get the most accurate and objective assessments of properties. We know that artificial intelligence can be a powerful tool, but we also recognize that a thorough condition assessment often requires a pair of experienced professional eyes. To make this process more consistent and less person-dependent, we have now launched updated descriptions and checklists for condition assessments. This is an important step in the direction of more objective assessments.
Condition assessments are a key part of working with properties — whether it's maintenance plans, renovations or trading. Assessments should be as objective as possible, but as they are carried out by people with different backgrounds and experience, variations can occur.
Our AI models have already helped make the assessment process more data-driven, but we know there is still a need for manual inspection of the buildings. This is where our new descriptions and checklists come into the picture. They have been developed to ensure a more structured and consistent method for assessing building parts, so that the results are more comparable and reliable.
We see this as a natural extension of the work on standardising condition assessments published by the Bygherreforeningen (see reference here: https://bygherreforeningen.dk/viden/digitalisering/standardmetode-til-tilstandsvurdering/)
Our descriptions and checklists are built on the basis of publications from the Institute of Technology.
With the new updates, our users can:
- Work with more standardized assessment criteria.
- Ensure that important aspects of the building's condition are not overlooked.
- Achieve a more harmonious and uniform assessment practice.
- Create a better basis for decisions based on objective data.
We see this as an important step in the right direction, but we are also conscious that there is still room for improvement. We will therefore continue to develop and optimize our solutions in cooperation with our users.
Recommendations:
- Use the new descriptions and checklists actively in your condition assessments to achieve more objective results.
- Combine AI models with professional expertise for the most accurate assessment.
- Give us feedback! We want to improve our solutions and adapt them to your needs.
We look forward to hearing your experiences with the new updates and look forward to continuing the journey towards even more objective and consistent condition assessments!
