Oscar Werner

Oscar is a data engineer at proprty.ai. He builds and maintains the data foundation and pipelines that our predictions are built on, keeping them sharp as we add buildings, markets and data sources.

He brings a background spanning both data science and software engineering. Oscar spent five years at Risika, first as a data scientist building machine learning models to predict which Nordic companies were heading for financial distress, then moving into backend engineering and data pipelines. He joined us from SAGA Space Architects, where he developed software for the European Space Agency, a collaborative 3D editor allowing industry experts to draft early phase spacecraft and satellite specifications.

The thread through his career is prediction. Working out what large volumes of data can tell you about what happens next, and building the systems that make those answers reliable.

Oscar grew up between Hong Kong, Vietnam and Denmark, and still calls Vietnam a second home. In his free time he does sports and plays piano.
